Maternity, Newborn & Family Photographer in Graz

A newborn session is ideally done within the first 5 to 14 days after birth. During this time, babies usually sleep a lot and can be photographed in a very calm and gentle way.

For a maternity session, the ideal time is usually between the 28th and 34th week of pregnancy. At that point, the belly is beautifully visible and most mums-to-be still feel comfortable enough for a relaxed session.

The best time is around two to three months before your preferred date. Sometimes a short-notice booking works as well, but I cannot always promise availability. You can contact me easily via the contact form, email, Instagram or by phone.

Most sessions take place in my lovingly prepared shooting space in Graz Straßgang. Everything is set up there so we can photograph in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Depending on the type of session, appointments at your home, outdoors or at a suitable location in Graz and the surrounding area are also possible on request. For longer distances or sessions abroad, travel costs are calculated individually.

Photos usually look most beautiful when your outfits are color-coordinated. Soft, warm tones such as beige, cream, white, brown, earthy shades or denim with a light top work especially well. For maternity sessions, long flowing dresses or fitted dresses often photograph especially beautifully because they show the bump well. Please bring two or three outfits of your own so we can decide together on site what fits best and what mood we want to capture. Strong colors, bold patterns and large logos can be distracting, so I recommend keeping things simple and timeless.

That depends on the type of session. A maternity or family session usually takes around 60 minutes. For a newborn session, it is best to allow one to three hours because we always follow your baby's pace. For civil ceremonies or small celebrations, the duration depends on the package booked and can be up to three hours. I always plan enough time so everything can stay relaxed.

Most of all, bring good energy and anything that feels meaningful to you. For a maternity session, you are welcome to bring two or three outfits of your own as well as personal items such as an ultrasound photo, baby shoes or a cuddly toy. For babies and newborns, a pacifier, milk or baby food and spare clothes can be very helpful. I have baby clothing, small accessories and a changing area on site, but you are of course also welcome to bring your own favourite pieces.

The number of included images depends on the package you choose. You will find the exact amount clearly listed in my pricing. If you fall in love with more photos afterwards, you can always add extra images.

In most cases, you will receive your finished images within 72 hours. Depending on the type of session and the number of edited images, delivery can vary slightly, but your gallery will be ready for you within 7 days at the latest.

Yes, absolutely. Depending on the package, partners and children are already included. Especially for maternity and newborn sessions, family images together are always something very special.

I do not publish anything without checking with you first and without your permission. If you do allow me to show them, I truly appreciate it because it gives new families an honest impression of my work. Photos are always shared without names or tags.

Yes, throughout the year I occasionally offer seasonal specials or mini sessions, for example around Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Christmas. The best way to stay updated is to follow me on Instagram, where I share all news and dates.

You can pay in cash directly after the session or transfer the invoice conveniently. I will send it to you by email. As soon as the payment has been received, I start the final editing of your images.
